Happy 2018!!!

I can’t believe it’s been a year since I took a leap of faith and went full time with Emily Katherine Events. When I dove in last year, I had about 5 weddings booked for the year (it was a serious leap). But working full time has allowed me to put 100% of my focus into the business and into my clients, and I ended up doing 18 weddings in 2017! One of my New Year’s Resolutions…. more blog posts in 2018! I have so many beautiful photos to share, and I hope to get more of those posted soon!

A huge thank you to the supportive vendor community in the Triangle, for trusting me with your referrals and being such a fun group of people to work with! I look forward to continuing to meet new Triangle wedding vendors and expanding my network in 2018.

And of course thank you to the couples who trusted me with their wedding plans this year!! It has been such an exciting year, with weddings from Greensboro to Topsail Beach, and Charlotte to Virginia. We’ve worked in museums, gardens, homes, at weddings with 300 guests and weddings with 20 (and an elopement thrown in there too!). Each wedding is unique in its own way, as is each couple, and I am so thrilled to see another year of weddings unfolding before me.
